Go With The Flow

In the world of dating, it’s easy to get caught up in all the drama. After all, if you’re like most people, you prefer being in a committed relationship (although not all people prefer this). Chances are, at some point in the dating process you will probably find yourself questioning why certain things are or are not happening. Where is “The One” you’ve always dreamed of? Let’s say you’ve joined an online dating service. The nature of this type of dating can be fun yet confusing. There are many single people who are “thrown together” on a website all looking to connect with someone. You might find yourself chatting with this really great person for a while. You get your hopes up. Could they be “the one?” You may even go out on a date with them and think you really hit it off. Then…POOF! They’re gone. No more response. You torture yourself thinking “Was it something I said?” or “Am I not good looking enough? Not witty enough in my emails? What went wrong?” Our advice to you is to stop analyzing it and move on. Don’t think it’s something you did or didn’t do. Do not think you are inadequate in any way. That is not true. You are a real catch who deserves being treated like royalty. Instead, realize that there is a natural flow to the Universe. The Universe has a plan. So if you’ve had 5 dates canceled on you in rapid succession, know that there is a reason. There may be lessons for you to learn. Or perhaps the Universe doesn’t want you involved with anyone when “The One” becomes available. Remember, everything happens at the perfect time in the perfect way. If you have this attitude, you will enjoy every step of your dating journey.
