Seek Awareness of Your Truth

Sometimes people don’t even know who they are if they are not in a relationship. Many people attach their identity on their partner and/or their relationship status. So if you find yourself single and confused, this may be the perfect time to discover who you are. And that includes finding your own truth. Many of your truths are buried in the memory banks of your subconscious mind. The subconscious contains knowledge, understanding, talents, and abilities. It also contains memories of those past events that make you feel guilty or fearful. Since you do not consciously know about them, you lack the awareness to rise above them. However, this does not mean that they are not affecting you. You still experience the undesirable hidden programming. Awareness is measured by how much you let yourself know you own truth. You must explore what restricts and motivates you in relationships. Answers are never difficult if you can ask the right questions. You may want to start with questions like these: Why do you want a relationship? What kind of person are you? Selfish or selfless? What are you core values? What do you expect out of other people? What do you expect out of yourself? How well do you know yourself? For example, perhaps you are the kind of person who cannot date anyone outside of your faith. As much as you’d like to, your particular faith is so important to you that you can’t imagine being with anyone who didn’t see the world the same way. Or maybe you are very good communicator and like to have frequent conversations about the state of your relationship. If you try to be with a partner who is more the silent type, then that will inevitably create problems. In other words, know who you are and what you stand for – your truth.
