Be Patient

Sometimes the Universe takes Its own sweet time. In fact, it seems like we are usually at the mercy of It’s timeline, and not our own. I’m sure you know what we are talking about, because it happens to all of us. For example, sometimes we are all taken on a twisting and turning journey in life not knowing where it will lead. You “see” your destination. You can feel it and taste it. You know where you want to end up. So why do you often ask yourself “How the heck did I end up here?” Usually, “ending up here” is merely a step towards your destination. You don’t know it at the time, but if you didn’t go through these unexpected experiences, then you may not arrive where you want to be. Perhaps you wanted a well-paying satisfying job at an advertising agency when you graduated from college. But all you found was a lousy $12,000-a-year job doing nothing but twiddling your thumbs. You think “How did I end up here?” You think the Universe obviously misunderstood your request and focused you in the wrong direction. Right? Wrong. Perhaps you needed to wait a while so you could meet the perfect person who would steer you on a completely different career path. So you were just in a holding pattern, you just didn’t know it. You will find this in your romantic life as well. Why did this relationship have to end? Why am I only finding dorks to date? Why have I found this great guy but I don’t feel like he’s “the one?” Have faith. The Universe knows what Its doing. If you have the attitude of “everything happens for a reason” and “everything leads to the highest good of all,” then you can’t go wrong. So get in the passenger’s seat, be patient, and enjoy the ride. Even the bumpy parts.
